Our Grade 4-6 French immersion students got a taste of Brazilian culture during a vibrant percussion workshop! They learned traditional Brazilian rhythms and songs, playing instruments like shekeres, bells, and drums.
The energy was contagious, and smiles were everywhere! What a fantastic way to experience the joy of music and explore global traditions. 🌎

This week, we were thrilled to welcome Chris Gormley, who treated us to an unforgettable performance with his new songs! 🎸✨ Full of positivity, energy, and uplifting vibes, his music had everyone singing along—and the tunes are still echoing through the halls, classrooms, and playgrounds! 🎵🎉

Our recent Celebrity Server Night at Boston Pizza was a huge hit! Thanks to the amazing support from our community, special guest servers, the event was a success. Funds raised will go directly to towards supporting school initiatives and/or student programs. Thank you to everyone who came out to eat, laugh, and give back!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Junkyard Symphony for an absolutely exciting eco-entertainment experience! Your performance was a brilliant reminder of the importance of the four R's of waste reduction—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! 🎶♻️
Your super show was filled with radical rhythms, crazy circus tricks, lots of laughter, and fantastic fun for all ages. It was an unforgettable performance that inspired us to care for our planet while having a blast!

It was a beautiful Catholic Education Week in our local schools this week! Donna Nielsen and I attended a number of events and loved every minute🙏🥰 We kicked off the week with the board Mass at our very own parish, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Cornwall, Ontario celebrating St. Peter Catholic School, we also attended together the Mass at St Francis de Sales Parish celebrating St. Anne Catholic School, thank you to everyone for helping us witness who we are! The Grade 5/6 Immersion class beautifully reenacted the Last Supper for the entire school, providing a meaningful and inspiring way to prepare staff and students for Easter. The Grade 5/6 Core class beautifully presented the Stations of the Cross through powerful tableaux, sharing the story of Christ's Passion. We were also honoured to have our trustees, Donna Nielson and Karen Torrie-Racine, in attendance to witness the students'  hard work and talent on stage.

The votes were in, and it was time for the final reveal of our Manie Musicale 2025 winner! After an exciting tournament filled with amazing music, it all came down to Dr. Yaro and Gims in the final round. Students listened, students voted, and now it's time to find out who takes the championship title! Thank you to Mme Melanie, Mme Gadbois and Mme McIntosh for organizing the reveals. Une activité fantastique!

Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we have raised $3000.00 for Heart and Stroke Foundation through Jump Rope for Heart. Your efforts are making a real difference in supporting heart health and research. Keep practicing your skills and staying active- every step, skip, and jump counts toward a healthier future!

Our Grade 5/6 students had an incredible opportunity to learn about Inuit culture during a hands-on workshop before the March Break. They learned about the rich traditions and history of the Inuit people while building a traditional sealskin frame. A big thank you to everyone who made this workshop possible!

During Black History Month, our students engaged in a variety of activities celebrating the theme Black Legacy and Leadership. Together, we reflected on the contributions, resilience, and achievements of Black leaders throughout history and today!
