Indigenous Education Day!

Please take a few minutes to view the Indigenous Education Day PowerPoint, which is posted in Teams. 💦 💧

Today is Water Wednesday and the 5th annual CDSBEO Indigenous Education Day. This year’s theme, Spirit of Water, encourages us to connect with nature. While we would normally be celebrating this day in our schools learning important teachings and traditions of First Nations people, we instead encourage everyone to take a walk and honour the land and the water by acknowledging the territory, and praying for Nibi (water). #CEW2020 #IgnitingHope
