Eco Schools News!
Students are eager and ready to help their planet and we know parents and guardians are willing to do their part too! The St. Anne’s Eco School team is hoping to bring greater awareness to the amount of trash we create every day and encourage people to help reduce it. Much of the waste we send to the landfill is actually biodegradable and could be composted and turned into rich soil for our gardens, instead of needlessly taking up space in the landfill. To this end, we have invited Kristen Campbell on October 15th, to speak to the school about the benefits of composting. She will even equip some of our classes with their very own vermicomposting bins!
