Welcome Back Message from your Principal!

Dear Families:

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! It is my pleasure to join the St. Anne’s school community. I look forward to working with you all. September is a time when teachers are preparing lesson plans and classrooms; families are getting ready to help with homework and to read more with their children; and, students are setting goals to work hard and to reach as high as they possibly can.

As a Catholic School Community, we are anxious to work with families to assist in creating a stimulating, secure and open environment. A strong link between school, the home and the church will go a long way in reaching this goal.

The staff is looking forward to an exciting and successful year.  Our School Board’s new spiritual theme is “Be Holy – Joy Springs from a Loving Heart.” As Catholic educators, we are committed to teaching and living the gospel values in our offices, classrooms, hallways, school yard and beyond. By focusing on a theme each month, we will make the board theme come alive in our school!

As your child’s first teacher, we will continue to rely on you and your support for achieving maximum success. By working together, we can help every child achieve his or her potential.

We look forward to seeing you at our Open House on Thursday, September 27th from 5:45 – 7:00 p.m.

Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher at any time if you have questions regarding class content, or your child’s progress.

On behalf of the staff of St. Anne Catholic School, I extend a warm welcome to the students and families of our community; and, I extend a special welcome to our new students and families.  We look forward to working with you and your child.

It is a new school year – let us make it a great one! God Bless.

Have a great month!

Yours in Catholic Education,

Frances Derochie
